Meet Keith Jenson!
Keith hails from Colorado. Raised as a musician who also enjoyed film photography, he wanted to try to be involved in music videos, inspired by the works of Mark Romanek and Floria Sigismondi. He eventually landed in post production first working on commercials and student films in Colorado, moving on to be the telecine assistant for the early seasons of 30Rock and eventually becoming the colorist for Babes, Law & Order (some of season 23, and all of season 24), and other films and TV shows.
Along the way Keith spent time learning conform and VFX workflows and techniques and evens supplied VFX work on Z For Zacharia, 10000 Saints, and A Complete Unknown. All three of these hats came together perfectly in 2025 when the New York branch of the facility he was working at (Light Iron) closed its doors. During his four years there he met and worked with Bonnie Gross. They had overseen color and finishing on a couple indie projects like Ben & Suzanne: A Reunion in Four Parts, The Greatest, and many shorts and music videos. When Light Iron NY closed its doors Keith and Bonnie decided to co-found Brainwomb in NYC as a boutique finishing company. Keith’s many hats allow Brainwomb to be a bespoke finishing company as they can handle almost every aspect of finishing a project between the two of them.
Outside of post Keith still loves music. He’s even managed to make a few music videos over the years. He’s even acted in one small indie film. Not a speaking role and only appears for a couple frames but he still laughs that it’s on his resume. If you’re ever in studio with him ask him about that gig and how it involved an angry spoken word version of Christina Aguilera's “Beautiful” at a cowboy bar and he and his friend getting thrown off the set!
